Objectives:
A doctor completing the course should be able to
1.Understand and recognize and easily pick up a child with chronic respiratory symptoms
2.Classify a child into diagnostic and therapeutic classification based on symptom chartings.
3.Recognise and understands sneezers, coughers , wheezers of infective and noninfective reasons.
4.Understand the possible emergency/ threats, need for evaluations, referrals.
5.Understand complications of PCRS
6.Understand basic management of suspected differentials including Allergic Rhinitis, DNS-ITH-Sinusitis,Reflux Disease,
Tonsillo Adeno Pharyngitis,Asthma and Chronic lung diseases.
7.Supportive therapy Diet Growth Weight Speech Schooling,teaching symptom charting to parents
